Hi everyone,
I have 2 female khaki campbell ducks about 7 months old, they are laying daily.
We have wanted more ducks preferably drakes.
I have been offered 2 that are in need of a home and am planning on picking them up this week but I am curious as to other peoples experience with adding new ducks of the opposite sex.
They are a mixed breed about a year old.
Our plan is to keep them separate and introduce them on neutral ground with lots of room to roam and have them sleep in their own quarters at night. But the plan is to eventually have them all together in one coop.
It this a good idea? I hear different things about having more females to males but also hear it dosnt matter. I really want to be able to help give them a home but dont want to upset my girls. We raised them from day olds and they are very tame. Do you think they could all live together happily ever after lol
Thank you
