New easter egg rooster

How do I calm down a rooster, I just got him yesturday, he doesnt attack no pecking, no charging, everytime somone tries to get close to him he tries to fly/run away and makes these loud squaking noises. Hes a big rooster too, id say almost 2 ft tall, with full colorful feathers and a good beard.

Give him time. Chickens hate change, and right now he is flat out scared of you and his new home.

Humans or other chickens?
Just visit frequently, talk softly, but don't try to touch him.
Stay outside his enclosure.
Be calm, move slowly when topping off feed/water.
Let him get used to you and the new coop
