new egg questions

my new chickens just started to lay i am getting 2 dozen a day now but the eggs a small how long before they get bigger????

What type of hen?

I have a CA White X d'uccle and she lays a medium cream colored egg almost every other day... sometimes I'll get four in a week.

I have a White Leghorn that gives me an EXTRA large white egg every other day.
I have a Light Brown Leghorn that gives me a large white egg 3 to 4 times a week.

I have a Cinnamon Queen that gives me a large brown egg 5 to 6 times a week.

I have a Barred Rock that gives me a medium light brown egg 6 to 7 times a week.

I have a RIR that gives me an EXTRA large dark brown egg 5 to 6 times a week.

It took them about 2 months of laying to get to size.

2 months gee wiz! they are barred rocks and rir and sex links.

Probably took mine a couple of months, too; maybe a little less for the leghorns.
