New egg with odd spot over air pocket???

Hello,
my EE hen just started laying this morning, She layed a small light brown egg with white spots all over it. When I brought it inside for cleaning, I recognized a large light white spot the same size as the air pocket, over the air pocket. I know the rooster has been mating with her, is this normal? I thought it could do with being fertile.

Weird defects can be common, especially in new layer. I have hens that lay a certain shape or color, and some are routinely what would be considered deformed by comparison with store eggs. Your egg just looks like uneven pigment which is very common.

Ok, I sell my eggs to my neighbors and friends, and I just wanted to make sure I didn't sell them any bad ones. Thanks
