New England area people - about when do your birds slow down/stop laying for the winter?

And what breed do you have?

I'm new to this, have 5 Buff Orpington and 2 EEs. Only 2 of my Buffs are laying right now - one daily, one just started 4 days ago and is currently laying every other day. Nothing from the EEs yet. I'm wondering if all of them will even start this year. I know the BOs are winter-hardy and can lay all year long, but my hopes are too high since my birds are so young.
