New Exhibitor Daily Care prep for Show

My wife and I purchased 7 Silkies this weekend from A breeder Show has Show stock. We want to show them at our fair this fall and maybe one show in June for practice.
What are some of the daily things we need to be doing?

I showed cattle and we worked hair everyday... is this something we should do with our Silkies?

Best thing to do would be to call the breeder you bought from and ask them what they do. A lof of breeds are different in what they need done from day to day.
For my cochins I have them in conditioning cages 2 months before the show. They get fed unmedicated chick feed everyday, with a little bit of catfood for extra protein. I also clean the cage 2-3 times a day, the cages bedding is woodchips. I try and handle them as much as possible.
