My husband never says cool things, but a few weeks ago, he says, we should do chickens again. Moments later i was pre-ordering chicks from the farm store 
He can't go back on his word now!
Fast forward to yesterday, half of my chicks are in, 4 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, love 'em!
I have had BLRW before, so I'm familiar with their coloring, so I am pretty sure the girl at the farm store game me all splash's. Which is fine i guess, if i were to get all 4 of one color, splash would be it, but the kids were hoping for variety. We'll have to wait and see on those ones.
Then I have 1 white leghorn, 1 ameracauna, 1 buff orpington, and 1 australorp, coming in another week. Super excited for the chicks as its been a few years since i was able to have chickens.
Now off to build the coop (supervise
