the One Holland white and the Peking Duck are eggs from a very good friend and the Buff Orpington chickens were ordered by mail.
As well as the Polish Chickens were mail ordered as well with the Buffs.

Here's some pictures of my turkey yard. I have about 20 poults +/- that I hatched this year living on the right side of the coop. I fashioned a run for
them so that they can use the hoop house during the day, and not get lost in the yard. Also by doing this I have been able to teach them all to
go inside the coop in the evening. Took about a week, but the poults are going in the coop to roost in the evening without me having to carry them in.
The varieties I have right now are midget whites, narragansetts, and jersey buffs.

I have my first ever Poults. A Spanish Black, named Montana, and a (what I believe is) Chocolate, named Soprano. (don't ask-we were fans of the show, Plus s/he has the most high pitched call...

Here's a few pictures.

Montana

Soprano

Soprano (we recently took them camping with us since I didn't want to leave them with my flock sitter)

Is it my imagination, or are turkey poults far more affectionate and emotionally attached then chickens? These two are just the biggest cuddle bugs, compared to the many chicks I've raised, they always want to be on me, with me, or at least see me.

Most Fowl are social birds and the Turkey seems to me being even more so they want company all the time and yes I have had them jump up on my lap wanting a good scratch.
Turkeys have a great personality's compared to chickens.
