Hello, we are new to the site (have posted a few things) and we are also new to chick hatching and raising.
This is kind of a school project for my 9yro whom I homeschool. So hopefully this will give him a good grasp on nature and 'parenthood'
.
We bought a Little Giant incubator and an egg turner and right now we have the bator running to regulate the temp but won't be getting eggs until March 22nd. We are getting eggs from 2 different individuals, so who knows exactly what we will be raising, just as long as we get at least 4 or 5 females, not sure if we want a rooster at this point, don't know how the neighbors will react??
