new from Bangor area, Maine

Hello! My boyfriend and I moved to Maine a couple of years ago and am interested in getting chickens - hardy egg layers, meat chickens and Polish chickens. I've been looking around for Polish breeders and am having a hard time finding any. We've got a 4 acre plot, small garden, dog (Blue) and some frogs/fish. Work is fisheries-related. Hoping to just learn more about chickens/housing chickens etc.

Welcome neighbor. You'll love it here. I have 12 eggs in the incubator a mix of eggs. If any hatch you are welcome to them free.

I will post as soon as they hatch. If they hatch. I really don't think they will because of the time it took to receive them. I will know by Monday or Tuesday when I candle them. Now to figure out a plan for a candler.
