I'm new to S.Texas and fairly new to chickens. I've got all dominickers right now but I'm looking to get some welsummers and Rhode Island Reds soon. I have three coops that I use for different aged chicks or for separating my chickies with attitudes but I usually let them all out to free roam during the day since I have a pit bull that keeps the carnivores away and couldn't care less about the birds lol. I'm up for trading roosters/hens with locals and hope to start being able to hatch my own lil peeps soon
