(3) What breeds do you have? 1 Rhode Island Red and 2 Isa Browns

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Was looking up ordinances because I have a neighbor who wants to give me grief.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Travel and photography

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

Sounds like a nice flock!

Thank you for serving our country.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. You have a very good and thorough introduction. :o) Thank you for your years of service to our country. You have some great layers. Isa Brown is one of a number of labels under which some hatcheries market their Red Sex Links which are laying machines. You should get loads of large, brown eggs from those two girls. Raising chickens is a wonderful experience for children. Our children and granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loved our chickens and made lap pets of the calmer and more gentle breeds. If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is loads of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

Hi, welcome to BYC!

You have two of my favorite breeds...RIR and red sex links. You'll have some nice layers once they start up! Sorry your neighbor is being a pain but maybe once your girls start laying, some eggs might make them appreciate your chickens more.

Thank you for your years of service. Feel free to ask questions, share stories & pictures of your flock...just make yourself at home here.

Nice to have you join us!
