New from Idaho!

Hi! I'm a newbie with 2 weekers in the brooder, but picked up a few 3-4 month olds today from someone who didn't know a thing about them. I suspect 3 are Polish banties, but I'm not sure of the other two. Tried to post pictures in another forum, but my post is being held for moderation. Any idea how long it might take to be approved? Thanks!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. I don't know why your pics would even be held for moderation, but I would send a PM to TwoCrows, who is one of our moderators, and ask her about it. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting your pics posted.

Looked at your other thread and the pics are there. Sorry, I have no experience with Polish, but they are quite cute. Hopefully someone will give you the answer there. Or you may consider posting the pics in this thread, looks like the moderation delay is over - please don't take it personal, probably just a new rule to keep our site safe.

If you haven't already done so, you should visit the learning center to make sure you know how to integrate the 2 different aged chicks to avoid flock issues when you are ready to place them together.
