Hi! Haven't raised anything but kids since I was a kid! Trying to get my hubby as excited as I am... We have a local ranch building our coop/run but then we will be adding a larger run to it. Excited but a little anxious after reading sooo much info!

It can all be a little overwhelming, but I figure it's just like raising kids - and since you have that down pat then chickens and the forum will be a snap! Just remember when the kids were little....remember all of the people giving you advice? How you took some and were grateful for it but ignored what didn't fit you, your kids, or your situations? Yeah, it's like that! Little bit at a time!
