Hi, and thanks for the great welcome! I am from Easton (on the easternshore of Maryland). I am starting small, only a group of 10. Mostly for eggs and pets, my daughter has helped me pick quite an assortment to start out with. We have ordered all females, which include a Salmon Faverolles, Buff Orpington, Barred Plymouth Rock, Black Australorp, 2 Ameracaunas (my pick), Naked Neck, Norweigan Jaerhon, Exchequer Leghorn, and a Golden Campine. They should be arriving around the 17th of February, we all can't wait. This is our first time with chickens, but I have had many other birds and critters.
