Hello everyone..

I joined last night.

I don't have chickens but I might be planning on moving in to my parents cottage soon and would like to have some chickens when I do move. So for now its sit and envy those who have them.

Hi,
Where are you tea? I'm near Wiarton, Owen Sound. I'm a newbie on BYC too. I am lucky enough to have a few chooks already (about 70-80 we'll over winter-they are all pets too), but definitely I am addicted. I have only had chickens about 2 years and one week. They are very little trouble (and lots of fun and the egg are Great) and the managing in the cold is the biggest obstacle in the first year when you are getting set up, but it's not a big deal if you are prepared. Welcome anyway! Claire
