New from PA!

Hello,
Just found this site and love it. It has been a while since I raised chickens and am patiently or not so patiently waiting on my girls to start laying. I have a small mixed flock of reds and am looking to add a little variety to the flock and learn a few things along the way.

Thanks! Funny part is that avatar pic is Diesel and I just traded him and three girls for laying pullets. My general opinion in the house was that my daughters wanted chickens that were going to stick around and him and the girls were cornish X I believe. I know they grew really fast and ate a ton of food. Now the new clutch will be around for a while.

Thanks Again! Hopefully you guys can help me id my girls. One was a chick given to me( and now shes a cute lil pullet) and the others were from a young fella who just said they are red and white. lol. They were in a coop with roughly 150 others. It was insane! All I know is they know me now and actually come to me when I call. I started handling them as soon as I got them home. Will post pics as soon as I take them off my phone.
