New from RGV Texas

I'm new to raising chickens, though I'm not new to birds and animal husbandry in general; studied it in college after growing up on a cattle ranch, and now work in the regulatory side of the industry.

I have 12 Silver Laced Wyandotte pullets that are 4 weeks old and doing great in the nursery coop my husband built them (They'll be getting a bigger one in the spring), and my 2 year old son loves to follow around behind them demanding eggs.

I'm excited to jump into this online community to learn more and share what I know!
