Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Anyone passing thru SD is more than welcome to stop by and visit us out here where the wild pheasants roam

We're about 75 miles west/northwest of Yankton, just north of the Yankton Sioux reservation. Maybe in another few years we'll have even more of a menagerie....along with various types of fowl, I'd like to have some fainting goats & a couple of horses, LOL.

For now, we're starting with chickens and a few ducks....don't wanna take on too much, too soon!

Awesome! Lake Andes is 10 miles almost directly south of where I live; in fact it's where I go to take my dogs to the vet! Small world ain't it?

Welcome, I am also in SD but in the NE corner. I have all bantams, mostly D'anvers and cochins. I started with poultry when my kids were in 4H ( they are 29 and 33 years old now)
