Hi there. After raising BYC for four years, I am raising 4 new chicks to integrate with the remaining 2 hens and expanding the coop to accommodate. I'm sure I'll get some great advice here. Portia is a Black Australorp, Ruby is a some kind of red sex link?, and the new chicks are Americauna, Wellsummers, and Black Sexlink, quite a menagerie!

Thanks all! Today is the day the little girls are moving outside! The big girls slept in their expanded space last night. Boy were they agitated and confused! But they settled in just fine. Their new nest box isn't done yet, so they will have to lay in an egg crate this morning We'll see what they think of the little ones moving in next door!
