Good day everybody. I have been reading this forum for ages since I first started keeping chickens at home about a year ago and the information has been invaluable. I live in an urban environment so I only have 9 hens. I have also just embarked on the hatching quail chicks for the first time which has been amazing. I started incubating 48 Coturnix eggs and yesterday (day 17) 19 babies hatched and as I sit here typing I have just added another 19 babies to the brooder on day 18. Hope to be an active member and share my experiences as we go along.

Yes I have just started hatching Jumbo Coturnix quail yesterday. The babies are SO cute! I also have some hens that I free range.
