Hello, I 'm an old chick from the foothills outside of Sacramento in a small town called Sutter Creek. where they discovered gold. My husband and I have 10 acres ,and I have been raising chickens for 16 of the 18 yrs. we have been here. I have 4 new Cuckoo Moran's , a new Frizzle, along with assorted Bantams , Polish, and Ameraucana . I just moved the Moran's , the Frizzle and a few Bantams out to the coop in a small caged in area so they are safe. With a heat lamp . I still have 9 others in a small kids pool in the basement area of our Log Home under a heat light . Glad to have found your site. Even though I have been raising chickens for a long time, I can still learn a lot . Deanna
