(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes, my family is new to chickens. We took delivery of our first chicks last week.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 10
(3) What breeds do you have? French Black Copper Marans
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? The exposure to responsibility it provides for my children... And of course the fresh eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? My other animal-related hobby (besides backyard chickens) is a Koi pond full of aquatic life.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My wife and I have 2 children and 2 dogs.
