New from Washington state anyone around here?

Hi Jimena,

I too am in Washington. I used to live in Shoreline for many years but recently moved north to Bow north of Burlington. I too am new to raising chickens so I can't help with your question since I haven't put my girls outside yet but just wanted to say hello since you're from Shoreline.

! Pleased you joined our community! DE is a hot topic on BYC! Some consider it's powers magical. Others say it's powers are fictional. I'll let you decide. Type in DE into the BYC search box and review some old threads. Pour yourself a hot to a cold drink....you'll be reading awhile.

Also, if you'd like to chat with fellow WA folks, find your state thread
here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/270925/find-your-states-thread

And if you're new to the chicken world you might like to read up on the articles in the Learning Center here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

Best wishes and thanks for joining BYC!
