and here is a link to the hatch I assisted (that poor little one started to unzip, long before any others had even pipped...seems to be doing well in the brooder!!!

Sooooo MY QUESTIONS ARE:
This is my first batch of incubating eggs and I'm not sure when they need food and water. I know when I have ordered them from the hatcheries I gave it immediately, but I'm not sure they need it for the first 24 hours???
Also, anyone with genetics info, the mothers are Easter Eggers and the Father is a Blue Orpington...any guesses on what they might look like as adults?
