New Fuzzy-Butts!!!

Hi everyone!

The Light Brahma and the Silver Spangled Hamburg arrived on Monday! I just picked up the Speckled Sussex and Austrolorp today. Pics!

Our Sussex! I think she's my favorite right now. She's adorable and actually snuggles into my hand when I pick her up. The other three either freak out or just stay still.

Our Austrolorp! She's a sweety. And mellower than I thought she'd be!

Light Brahma! The biggest chicky of all. She'll flop down in a full body splay when she sleeps! 'Dead chick' poise. Rather disconcerting, except I've seen her do it so I know she's just sleeping.

Our Silver Spangled Hamburg! She's a little diva, all attitude. We're thinking of naming her Salsa.

And one of everyone together! Fuzz Butt Season is BACK!!!

Our nutsy one is the Hamburg. 'High Strung' only begins to decribe her... And she's definantly the dominant chick in the brooder to boot. I thought she was going to poke out our Austrolorp's eye when we introduced them. Sheesh... I distracted her by scattering a bit of food next to them. The Austrolorp went NUTS, boy was she hungry. It caused enough chaos with everyone trying to get the 'good stuff' before the others that they got used to eachother. Thank goodness...
