New girl

Hi,
I'm Jeannette and and brand new to the world of chickens. I have attended a few events to learn the basics. I ordered my coop today and once I get it up and do a few hacks, I'll start to shop for girls to fill it . I look forward to learning from those of you with experience to keep my girls healthy, happy, and safe.

You ordered a coop? May I ask from where? Remember, the MINIMUM space requirement inside the coop is 3 sq feet per bird and the MINIMUM square feet requirement for the run is 10 sq feet per bird. More is much better. Most pre-fab coops don't come close to meeting these minimums.
