Unless you know how to vent sex them not untill they are older. When they are mature you can tell there sex by their voice.

Hey neighbor! I'm just outside of Haskell. This may or may not be a coincidence, but I have 3 pearl guineas, and the females bottom wing feather, going along the bottom is white. The male doesn't have any solid white feathers.

Like I said, it may be a coincidence, but I have 2 females and a male, and both females have the white feather.

Also, the males start getting their bump on the head earlier than the females.

Hi shelly-so are these pearls? they are very active and talkative- looks like one is a lookout quite often the other three will sleep while he/she watches over them- what is the best way to tame them?

Mine are as wild as a March hare, so I can't help you with taming them. I guess if you have the time to carry them around 24/7, they might let you hold, them, but I wouldn't count on it. There's way more people on here that can't touch their guineas, than can! Just takes dedication, I suppose!

Those look just like my pearl guineas.

They are so sweet. Handle them alot and week two start offering them three or four white millet seeds when you do. They will tame and become very friendly. Mine love to play and fly out of the brooder box in the family room everytime we open it-they are three weeks. They also go back in if I shake the food in their feeder in the box.
