Hello,
I'm Dan from Oswego, NY.
I've been raising my chickens for a little less than a year now.
I've got too White Silkie Roosters that are now grown, and 6 Red Star Hens, that are my layers.
I live on the outskirts of the city, but almost in the country, so i have my coop and a penned in area for all of them.
I'm loving it and I am in the planning stages of building another coop and run for some more chickens.
Only issue I am having is that my two white silkies, which I raised from chicks, are now aggressive to each other.
So I bought pinless peepers in the hope that it would chill them out, but somehow, they still found a way to nip each others combs. It looked like someone dumped red kool aid on them. I have them seperated right now. Wish there was something I could do, but I feel like one of them will be the patriarch of my new coop once it's built.
Thanks for having me on your forums.
