New Hampshire Chicks

Here is, I hope, a pic of my 7 New Hampshire chicks at one day old. I am a newbie & trying to see if this will work.
It worked. They have grown so much since this pic.

This was our first time to ever do this. It was so nerve wrecking. Can' t believe we got all 7 here. They are running & playing & having a big time.

You're doing really good. Do you have your coop and run ready? Or is that to do while they are brooding?

I just ordered my first 6 chicks; expecting them on May 9th! So excited!!!

We have the big chicken house but when they are old enough we have a big brooder to put on the enclosed back porch. We hatched these out of our 3 new hamps. 3 are Mildred's & 4 are Alice's & all are Harry's.

This has been fun & they grow so quick. In 6 days their wing feathers & now the tail feathers are coming in. I will try & get some new pics. You will enjoy it, they are so cute..
