does anyone have any pics of younger chicks say a week old. I found 4 chicks in the bin labeled golden comets pullets that well are not. They have a similar color but there wing feathers are barred not the solid color of a golden comet. My best guess are new Hampshire reds and well hoping females haha. but I have yet to see any good pics of this breed

They might be red stars, which is just another type of red sexlink. They're more red where the golden comets are more gold. I have a chick that was labeled New Hampshire red, but I think it might actually be a red star, or maybe it a New Hampshire red, just crossed somewhere in it's recent lineage. I have an adult red star that a friend gave me about a month ago and she is the sweetest bird ever, and she lays HUGE eggs.
