Hello everyone, I posted about a week ago worrying that my chicks hadn't hatched in 21 days, well today is day 27 and I have three beautiful chicks! In the picture, the large fluffy grey hatched first, around 7 this morning. The yellow one hatched around 12:30, and the black on hatched around 1:30pm. I noticed on all of them when they first hatched that their feet looked awkward and they could barely use them. Grey and Black have both stretched out their feet and can walk pretty well considering they're only hours old. The yellow one however still has the "club feet" and doesn't walk around much. Are they always going to be like that or am I worrying too much? I just find it odd that the black chick, who hatched later than the yellow, is already walking before the yellow. I hope she/he will end up being okay. I read on a post here that a lady taped cardboard to her chick's feet to straighten them out...sounds a little inhumane to me.
