New hen dozing often

Hi all!

We brought home 2 new hens a week ago to join our 2 EE's. Chickens have all been checked out and are healthy and getting along just fine. The new hens are a Black Australorp and a Sage Egger. The Sage Egger is acting odd...she just randomly sleeps during the day. She's eating, drinking, pooping, dust bathing, and foraging, but will doze off often between these activities.

She is about 5-6 months old and not laying yet. I'm really hoping she's okay since we just lost another hen from our original flock back in October! And she's only been with us a week!

Where did you get your new birds and are they currently quarantined?
If she's acting normal other than the dozing, it could just be a growing bird napping

We got them from our local feed store. A store with a great reputation. They were quarantined prior to getting them.

Might just be the adjustment. She's been through a lot for a chicken, going from one place to another. I'd maybe give poultry cell just as a boost. Watch to make sure she's roosting with the others fine and continuing to eat okay.

For at least a month? It's really sketchy to house possibly sick birds in a place where people buy their feed.
