Hello from SE Montana
I have had chickens most of my life. Since my arrival in SE Montana I have become more interested in homesteading and becoming more self sufficient in my retirement. I look forward to the arrival of 20 assorted baby chicks next week ( Columbian Wyandotts, Black Star Sex-Links, Sapphire Gems and Buff Orphingtons for brooders. I will add a couple dwarf Nigerian goats for milk to my 10 acres and hopes of a few piglets by summer. Being a new comer to Montana, I have a lot to learn about the climate and my abilities. I need a good forum for goats as this will be my first attempt with them. I love chickens though and look forward getting some feathered friends back in my life. I had 13 Golden Wyandotts and 4 Americanas back in Oklahoma that I didn't think would be real happy about the move.
