Hi everyone,
I picked up a new hen about 10 days ago as I have 3 pullets and I decided I wanted to start getting eggs now rather than wait a few more months. This new hen (Swedish Flower Hen) is apparently about 1 year old and the lady who gave it to me said she lays about 2-3 times per week. I picked her up on Friday June 15th and she didn't lay an egg until 5 days later (which was to be expected with the stress of moving) However it has now been another 5 days and I have not seen another egg. I am wondering if this is normal for her to lay an egg and then not lay another one for 5+days after. Is she still stressed from the move? I made sure to have layer feed available for her as well.
