No.
She should be properly quarantined and then properly introduced using the 'look, don't touch' integration.
A mother hen with chicks is a formidable force to be reckoned with.

depends on the size of the coop, the temperaments of the 2 chickens involved, roost area, run area, your location and outside temperatures and conditions.
is this a totally new hen ? has she been thru a quarantine? what is her age?
