Hello,
I just newly into the chicken business like 4 months. My family has been for generations. My father just recently passed and now I've been left with a flock of mixed breeds. So my brother and I decided we would start our own. Raising 47 new hens is a big hobby but we're having fun learning. Thanks for all of your advice!!!

Hello and welcome to BYC. Sorry that it's under sad circumstances that you have entered the world of keeping chickens, but I'm sure that keeping them will represent a great tribute to your late father.

You'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre - https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/category/learning-center.11/ and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.

Each week, various topics are discussed, which can also be a great resource - https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/topic-of-the-week-thread-archive
