New hens and eggs

I bought 6 buff orpingtons, one silkie, last week, all supposedly already laying. They are in the coop with my 4 buff babies and 3 silver laced Wyandotte girls who are about 8 weeks
So far, not an egg seen! I know just the stress of moving and new coop mates can slow egg production. How long should i give them to lay before i decide i need to put them on a stew pot?

it cold be that they are just of laying age, some chickens don't start to lay until a little after the 17-21 weeks

The stress from the move has probably been too much for them. Once they settle in and have a pecking order in place they will start again. No worries!
