Hey all! First off, thanks for all the info everyone has contributed to this website. We have used a lot of info from here to get started with our chickens and its helped a lot. So a little about us...

We live in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado on 5 acres about 45 minutes south of Denver. Earlier this year in April we got 19 chickens and ended up losing a couple early on. We now have 17 and they are doing great. It's been a ton of fun so far and we're loving them. It's been fun building their coop/run and putting everything together to give them a good place to live. Our little boy that is 2 years old loves them and its been great to see him learn about them and to see him interact with them as well. Outside of chickens we love the outdoors and our happiest place is being outside enjoying nature. Camping, backpacking/hiking, fishing, road tripping, traveling and taking care of our homestead are some of our favorite things. Well... looking forward to staying engaged here, learning more, and seeing chicken happenings from all. Attached is a picture of the chicken homestead.

Cheers!

White Cochin -Taiho
