Here is one idea to raise those chicks up higher so that you won't be looming over them when you come to feed or take care of them. Simple and inexpensive, and easy to do even for those of us without great handyman skills!

BUT be aware that chickens quickly begin to put out a LOT of dust, so you won't want them in the house after they start getting very big at all.
