New here from Hayward, Ca. Howdy!

Hello all. I have had my flock for a few years now. I started with full grown girls. I added two turkeys this year, soon to be a repurposed holiday favorite, lol. Next spring, I am going to try California quail. Its been a dream of mine to repopulate the area with them.

Any advice is welcome.

There may be legalities involved and knowing California (no offense) there likely are pages and pages of regulations about releasing birds or animals into the wild. You might try and investigate through your fish and wildlife department https://www.wildlife.ca.gov
Wouldn't want you to go to the effort and then be fined or worse. It would be cool if you could get some help from them to help you with your project! Best wishes on your project and thanks for joining BYC!
