I'm new here too. I'm sorry you can't keep your chickens anymore. Are you in an apartment or do you have some space?
I've had my girls for three years. No roosters though, I'm afraid of too much noise!!!

I have chickens in the suburbs...smaller types and bantams are great for the apartment dwellers..."But honestly Officer, they're mutated bunnies especially imported from Chernobyl".

I know what you mean about dead boards...I'm the new owner of Pet Poultry Association, for us folks with pet chickens, but I'm the only one who posts...
