(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes. I have them a week.
I once hatched chickens in elementary school and kept them. But nothing since then.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Three. Hoping 🤞🏽 they’re females - their names are black Betty, Grace and Sylvie

(3) What breeds do you have? I’m not sure yet.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? The way my kids love them.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? sourdough baker. Mom.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. we have a golden doodle


(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D had some questions 😂

My neighbor bought them from a friend as baby chicks - and he was having a hard time taking care of them so we bought them off of him as we were looking to buy chickens. This way we got beautiful breeds for much less and no longer tiny baby chicks.
