Hi, new here . Have a question? I have eggs that are cross between Lavender orp roo and Buff orp. Is this a good mix? Also , I believe one of the eggs here are fertile. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

It will be an excellent mix unless you're planning to enter the offspring in a poultry show. The offspring will be Orpingtons with all the wonderful qualities of an Orpington except of course that they will not conform to one of the standard colors needed for showing.
