Hello BYC Community!
My family and I are new to chicken raising as we got 8 on April 7th. We currently have: 3 Barred Rocks, 3 Red Stars and 2 Buff Orpingtons. I found this site after one of my BRs had what I now know was pasty butt and the information I found here was extremely useful and she was much better within days. My next dilemma was that I believe another one of my BRs may be a HE. We bought all sexed chickens but understand that sometimes that percentage of being incorrect still stands and I'm afraid from what I am reading and the pictures I've seen, my little Collins could be a Roo. If anyone is interested in trying to figure it out with me, I have pictures I can post. My children and I have had the best time reading and learning on here, I find myself spending more time than I should reading, but I just love learning all of this new information.
Thank you guys so much!
Aimie
