So i guess i am supposed to introduce myself... Here goes i am new to having chickens, my husband isn't though. He and his family have had chickens for a long time. I found this site through Pinterest when scowering for all the information i could get. Of course i could simply ask them, but i dont want to bother them or raise my chickens like they do. There way isn't wrong, i just dont like the way the do it. So i came here in hopes to learn other ways of doing things.

They are just so basic with them. Regular square coop, nothing pretty and uses deep litter method of straw.

I want to go all out for them! Pretty pen and coop.
