Hi Everyone!
We recently bought a house with 2 acres of land in South Eastern Massachusetts so I've committed myself to filling it with poultry. lol Kidding
Anyway we have 5 hens that are about 2 years old, and are currently brooding 16 chicks and two ducks to add to our brand new 10 x 14 coop.
Currently I have a very mixed flock with cochins, ameraucanas, brahmas, buff orpingtons, speckled sussex, golden laced wyandottes, and a few unknowns that came to us from a friend.
I work for a large animal vet and live with my fiance, son, daughter, dog, cat, and fish.
I don't have a ton of chicken experience but am learning quickly. Looking forward to picking all of your brains.
