Hi, I am new here and new to chickens! The information on this site has been very helpful while preparing for the arrival of my chicks. We just received our 4 Buff Orpington and 4 Easter Egger hens through the postal service and they all seem to be doing very well! We live in a suburb in NW Pennsylvania and are excited to begin this journey!

Hello and WELCOME!! I have one Buff Orpington. I got her when she was already laying. She is one of my very favorites. She is extremely friendly, loves to be petted, and is the smartest of our flock. Her name is Deborah (after Debbie Harry since she is our only Blondie girl). We also received baby chicks in the mail this week!
