Hi. We are in Richmond Texas. We have 2 acres but currently aren't allowed to have chickens.....yet. just horses....I am working on getting our small HOA to update the rules based on recent state House and Senate bills.(and I'm the vice president on the board, so that helps).

We would like to eventually get 6 to 8 hens.

Hi Mike! My husband and I are about to buy a house in a very small HOA in Richmond. The restrictions curiously do not allow any animals outside of household pets and a couple of horses. Not sure how horses qualify as household pets. Where is your HOA? We are buying off Winner Foster in Karaugh neighborhood in Richmond, Texas.
