Hello everyone! Flappy Bird, here. I’ve had chickens for about a year now. Just a few months ago, I had a healthy flock of eight chickens, but unfortunately, two have been taken from it, leaving me with only six. These chickens have been the source of my healing since my grandmother passed. My family and I bought them, hoping that we could ease our grief, focusing more on caring for them rather than the death of a family member.
I have a wonderful Plymouth Rock rooster that gets along nicely with our hens. My sweet but sassy White Leghorn is my joy, being an incredible companion. My Easter Egger delivers colorful eggs and I really do enjoy seeing her run around with her companions. My Sapphire Gem seems to run the group, leading them all in finding delicious grubs. Last but not least, my two very skittish and maybe a bit dramatic mutts. My chicks have their quirks, but I love them all.
I love to see my chicks run around searching for the tastiest bugs. I also enjoy writing, reading, some sports, and drawing.
